Sporting will go to the Azores to play Santa Clara in the round of 16 of the Portuguese Cup, according to the result of the draw held this Tuesday, November 25th.
In the tie scheduled for December 16th and 18th, the highlight will be FC Porto, which hosts Famalicão, while Benfica visits Farense, from the II League. Interestingly, the winners of these two games will face each other in the quarter-finals, the pairing of which has also already been defined. In other words, between the 11th and 15th of January, a classic between FC Porto and Benfica could take place at the Estádio do Dragão.
In turn, the winner of Santa Cara-Sporting will receive the winner of the clash between V. Guimarães and AVS in the quarter-finals.
