The Competition Authority (AdC) decided not to oppose Brisa’s purchase of AtoBe – Mobility Technology, which provides services for the ‘design’, manufacture and installation of equipment that supports toll collection and road mobility.
According to a note released this Wednesday, 26th, on its website, “on November 25, 2025, the Board of Directors of the Competition Authority, […] decides to adopt a decision not to oppose the concentration operation, […] since it is not likely to create significant obstacles to effective competition in the national territory or in a substantial part of it”.
The merger operation consists of the acquisition by Brisa – Autoestradas de Portugal of exclusive control over AtoBe – Mobility Technology.
The Brisa Group, which is headquartered in Portugal, operates in the road infrastructure and road mobility services sector.
