THE Brit dad accused of trying to drown his daughter-in-law – who is also claimed to be his girlfriend – has been released after admitting to one of his charges.
Mark Gibbon, 62, from Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, had been suspected of attempted murder – but will now serve no time behind bars.

The lighting engineer, who has worked with Ed Sheeran in the past, admitted to one count of battery following his arrest, the Daily Mail reported.
He also paid $1,300 in costs to a Florida court and was handed back his passport.
The mind-boggling case kicked off in August, when Gibbon is said to have been caught up in a heated quarrel with Jasmine Wyld, his 33-year-old daughter-in-law.
